People Logistics is seeking a competent Dispatcher for our warehouse in Swedesboro, NJ!

Pay rate: $18.50/hr.

Shift:

• Sunday – Thursday ( 2:30pm – 11:00pm)

• Friday – Monday (9:00pm – 7:30am)

Requirements:

• Resume required
• Must have dispatcher experience
• 2 years of Dispatch experience, preferably in the food industry

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills

• Ability to multitask under pressure
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of GMPs & safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a cold environment (limited exposure)
• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers and outside vendors
• Ability to be calm under pressure, decisive, and have a strong sense of responsibility
• Able to work in environments with variable: noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation
• Must have reliable transportation
• GED/High School Diploma required
• Associate’s degree in Agricultural Business or General Business a plus

Responsibilities:

• Accept calls from sales staff, customers, and other locations for order of materials
• Take, process, and prepare orders for pickup or delivery
• Coordinate product transfers between locations
• Contact trucking companies to coordinate shipments
• Instruct drivers on load requirements
• Complete orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Complete weight tags, bills of loading and hazardous material shipping papers
• Take product-order inquiries via phone and email
• Communicate directions and instructions
• Keep track of inventory of products stored in warehouses and in bulk storage
• Calculate total quantities of product by weight and/or volumetric measurements
• Perform customer service duties as needed
• Provide backup and assistance to other dispatchers and/or receptionist
• Track and report all shipments to security regarding authorizations on property
